Scattered rains affect eastern parts of Visayas, Mindanao

The eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao may see scattered light to heavy rains and thunderstorms brought by the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) on Tuesday afternoon, Nov. 29.
Cloudy weather with scattered rains may prevail over Caraga, Davao Region, Leyte, and Southern Leyte in the next 24 hours.
PAGASA warned those in areas affected by the ITCZ to stay vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy weather with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.
The public is also advised to be vigilant against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, which are often accompanied by sudden heavy rains, lightning, thunder, gusts of wind, and sometimes hail.
No gale warning is currently raised over any of the country's seaboards, as the sea will be light to moderate.
Small boats and other sea vessels are safe to sail.
