Four drug pushers cornered in Isabela buy-bust

ISABELA -- Four drug personalities who were caught with an undetermined amount of shabu during a buy-bust operation were arrested in Barangay Malapat in Cordon town here on Monday, Nov. 28.

Arrested were alias Noli, 30, and alias Win Win, 36, both residents of Malvar, Santiago City; alias Joey, 44, of Mayo Uno, Las Piñas City, and alias Rick, 40, of Butuan, Agusan Del Norte.

They were arrested after they sold a heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing an undetermined amount of shabu to a policeman who acted as a buyer.

A total of 18 pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets of suspected shabu were also confiscated from their custody.

Three sachets of illegal drugs were found from alias Rick; three more sachets were recovered from Alias Joey while operatives found ten sachets of shabu in the area where the suspects were cornered.

The four suspects and the confiscated evidence were taken to the custody of the Philippine National Police Cordon for proper disposition.

They will be charged for violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
