Charo Santos wants more acting work

After winning Best Actress for her excellent performance in the film "Kun Maupay It Panahon" at the just concluded 5th EDDYS, Charo Santos expressed eagerness to do more acting work.

She told us, "Gusto kong gumawa ng pelikula. At saka sana ay may serye na dumating, hindi ba?" 

The drama anthology series she is hosting on ABS-CBN, "Maalaala Mo Kaya" is soon to end.

How does she feel about it?

"Well, nakakalungkot, of course but all things must come to an end. Ganoon ang buhay," she said.

"I'm just so grateful for the 31 years that the viewers supported 'Maalaala Mo Kaya.' Nakakataba ng puso na we're on our last two episodes at talagang lungkot at panghihinayang ang naririnig mo sa avid fans ng programa."
