Agency: Korean actor Hyun Bin with Son Ye-jin when she gave birth to their first baby

Korean actor Hyun Bin was with his wife, actress Son Ye-jin, when she gave birth to their first baby on Nov. 27.

This was announced by Hyun Bin’s agency, VAST Entertainment, in response to Korean media news reports on Nov. 28 that stated that he was filming the movie “Harbin” in Mongolia when Son Ye-jin gave birth to their son.

"Hyun Bin is currently in Korea. He returned to Korea before Son Ye-jin gave birth and stayed by her side,” the agency told OSEN media outlet on Nov. 29.

He reportedly returned to Korea on Nov. 26, a day before Son Ye-jin gave birth. The filming for “Harbin” in Mongolia started on Nov. 20.

The production company explained that the filming in Mongolia was finished on Nov. 28 and it did not know the schedule of the actors’ departure and arrival in the country.

On Nov. 28, Korean media reported that Hyun Bin was in Mongolia when Son Ye-jin gave birth.

In the film, Hyun Bin will play the role of Korean independence fighter An Jung-geun.

Son Ye-jin gave birth nearly eight months after she and Hyun Bin got married in a lavish wedding on March 31 in Seoul. In October, it was announced that she was due to give birth in December but it came earlier than expected.

"It is true that Son Ye-jin gave birth. Both the mother and child are healthy,” VAST Entertainment and MS Team Entertainment announced on Nov. 27.

After their star-studded wedding, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin went to the US for their honeymoon in April.

Son Ye-jin and Hyun Bin starred in the hit Korean drama “Crash Landing on You.” The two stars publicly admitted their relationship on Jan. 1, 2021.

On Feb. 10 this year, they announced that they were getting married.
