Adamson and De La Salle vie for the last Final Four spot when they go up against separate foes in the last day of the UAAP Season 85 men’s basketball elimination round on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Soaring Falcons, who climbed 7-6 in the standings after a 64-63 escape against National University Bulldogs last week, put themselves in a decent spot towards the last semifinals seat.

However, Adamson faces a tall task in second seed Ateneo in their 4 p.m. tussle as it attempts to stage another surprise and avoid a possible playoff to take place along with La Salle which would determine the order of the crossover semifinals.

On the other hand, shooting down the Blue Eagles (10-3), who are up high after surviving last season’s championship tormentor University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons for a twice-to-beat cushion in their second round showdown, will not be a breeze.

In the first offering, La Salle will be playing an equally important last elimination round match when it meets University of Santo Tomas at the 2 p.m. tipoff.

The Green Archers, who absorbed a 6-7 record after their 80-72 loss to University of the East Red Warriors, will try to force the much-needed playoff to keep their Final Four aspirations alive.

Meanwhile, the Growling Tigers are aching to close out their campaign with a win after a 12-game slide.
