The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday, Nov. 29, announced that 8,029 out of 20,407 successfully passed the November 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.
It was held last Nov. 19 to 20.
PRC said that the oathtaking date and venue will be announced later.
The University of the Philippines Diliman (UPD) is the board exam's top-performing school with an overall passing rate of 95.45 percent as per PRC's advisory.
It was followed by UP Los Baños (UPLB) with 92.75 percent.
Meanwhile, PRC hailed Carl Jervin Rivera Magtira from UPLB as the licensure exam's topnotcher after garnering a rating of 95 percent.
He was followed by UPD graduates Andrew Aren Binondo Ong and Joseph Lawrence Galletes Celeste in the second and third spots with a score of 94 percent and 93.95 percent respectively.
The exam was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga, PRC said.
"On January 30-31, February 1-3, February 6-10 and February 13-15, 2023, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: downloaded duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, notice of admission (for identification only), 2 pieces passport sized pictures (colored with white background and complete name tag), 2 sets of documentary stamps and 1 piece short brown envelope," PRC added.
The successful examinees were also instructed to personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.
