LOOK: Israeli delegation visits Senate

A group led by Israel Ambassador to the Philippines Ilan Fluss visited the Senate on Monday, November 28 as they graced the opening of a photo exhibit entitled “Bridging Innovation Between Israel and the Philippines” which showcases the various projects of Israel in the Philippines.

Senator Pia Cayetano, chairperson of the Senate Committee on Sustainable Development Goals, Innovation, and Futures Thinking, welcomed the delegates from Israel, and said that one of the issues they discussed is the role of universities as hubs of knowledge and innovation.

Cayetano also said their exchange also centered on how to pursue and support growth and commercialize innovations made at the university level.
