The Department of Health (DOH) reported on Monday, Nov. 28, a total of 8,032 new Covid-19 cases during the past week.
In its weekly case bulletin, DOH said that daily average cases are currently at 1,147 which is 0.3 percent higher than cases from Nov. 14 to 20. The agency also recorded five cases tagged under severe and critical infections.
According to DOH, there are currently 599 severe and critical admissions which comprises 9.3 percent of total Covid-19 admissions.
On the other hand, 526 or 21.6 percent of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) beds are being utilized out of 2,430 while 5,169 or 25.2 percent out 20,508 non-ICU beds are being used.
Meanwhile, DOH also reported 120 more deaths due to Covid-19. DOH said that 17 of these took place between Nov. 14 and Nov. 27.
Of the 120 deaths, 19 occurred in November 2022, three in October 2022, two in September 2022, eight in February 2022, 11 in January 2022, two in December 2021, 15 in October 2021, 15 in September 2021, 19 in August 2021, five in July 2021, eight in June 2021, two in May 2021, six in March 2021, one in January 2021, one in December 2020, one in October 2020, one in August 2020, and one in July 2020.
