AirAsia Philippines will transfer a total of 109 weekly flights, departing Manila to Cebu and Caticlan, from Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 4 to NAIA Terminal 3 starting December 16, 2022 to ease congestion.
The transfer will significantly ease the queues and passenger load at the much-smaller NAIA Terminal 4, where the airline operates the remainder of its domestic flights.
The domestic flights tranferred to NAIA Terminal 3 will be operated alongside all the international flights of AirAsia Philippines.

“The exponential growth in the holiday demand this year is expected, given that travel restrictions today are way more relaxed compared to the previous years," remarked AirAsia Philippines Chief Executive Officer Ricky Isla.
"We are optimistic that by moving our busiest domestic flights to NAIA Terminal 3, we get to alleviate the travel woes of our compatriots, in aspects such as queuing, waiting and boarding.”
AirAsia Philippines’ Cebu route posted an 85 percent November load factor, while the Caticlan route achieved a high 90 percent.
The airline also flies to Caticlan and Cebu via other regional hubs, such as Clark International Airport and the Mactan-Cebu International Airport.
