B.League: Parks' Nagoya hands Kiefer, Shiga eighth straight loss

Ray Parks Jr. and the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins sent Kiefer Ravena and Shiga Lakes to their eighth straight defeat with a 98-55 triumph in the Japan B. League on Saturday, Nov. 26.

Parks provided a positive impact to the Dolphins with seven points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals as import Scott Eartherton threw his weight around to post 23 points, eight rebounds and three steals.

Ravena continued to struggle for the Lakes, mustering a measly two points in an off the bench role as Shiga now fell to a 2-10 record while Nagoya improved to a 9-3 slate.

Likewise, Thirdy Ravena also suffered a painful 87-73 defeat at the hands of the Fighting Eagles Nagoya. He finished with 16 points, five boards and five assists in a losing effort that snapped the San-En Neophoenix’s five-game winning run.

The effort of Matthew Wright also went down the drain as his Kyoto Hannaryz yielded to Utsunomiya Bren, 83-75. The Fil-Canadian gunner who seemed to finally found his mark in the B.League rifled in 21 points on a 3-of-6 clip from deep.

Dwight Ramos, meanwhile, sat out Levang Hokkaido’s 99-92 win over Shibuya Sunrockers.

Over at the B2 League, Filipino-Australian sniper Jordan Heading thrived into a new role off the bench, finishing with 11 points as the Nagasaki Velca got back on track with an 82-68 triumph over Fukushima Firebonds.

Kobe Paras, on the other hand, only contributed six points in Altiri Chiba’s 89-84 defeat to Bambitious Nara while Roosevelt Adams had a losing return to the Kagawa Five Arrows, succumbing to Nishinomiya Storks, 79-72.
