PAL spokesperson Cielo Villaluna said the airline company will comply with the CAB decision to implement Level 8 matrix from Level 9 for FSC. Accordingly, FSC for a one-way domestic ticket at Level 8 ranges from P253 to P787 while for an international flight, the rate is at P835.05 to P6,208.98.
"We have ongoing program partnerships which provide promo rates that help ease the burden among our customers," Villaluna said.
According to Villaluna, the adjusted matrix comes just in time as PAL is ramping up its flights for the Yuletide season.
"Travel appetite is evident as flights are generating high passenger turnout. As we brace for the deluge of passengers this December, we have announced revised terminal assignments for NAIA Terminals 1 and 2," she said.
On Dec. 1, PAL will open the Cebu - Cotabato - Tawi-Tawi route while on Dec. 9, it will restore its Cebu - Bangkok route.
By December 16, PAL will also launch its Cebu - Baguio flights while on Dec. 19, it will open its Cebu - Borongan route.
