Laguna police arrest rape suspect

KAMPO HENERAL PACIANO RIZAL, Santa Cruz, Laguna – Police arrested a resident of Calauan, this province, wanted for rape on Thursday, Nov. 24.

Laguna police director Col. Randy Glenn Silvio said the suspect, “Danilo,” the most wanted person on the regional level, was nabbed by the Calauan Municipal Police Station, together with the Regional Intelligence Unit 4-A, Laguna Provincial Intelligence Team, and 4th Maneuver Platoon of the 1st Laguna Mobile Force Company in Barangay Mabacan at around 2 p.m.

The suspect was arrested on a warrant issued by the Regional Trial Court, Branch 35, Calamba City, Laguna.

The court recommended no bail for the suspect who is now under the custody of the Calauan police.

Silvio assured crime victims that police are working hard to give them justice.
