Kat Alano defends self from naysayers

Kat Alano took to social media recently to hit back against people supposedly downplaying her rape allegations.

On Twitter, she wrote: "DEPRESSION?? YOU WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY YEARS I HAVE SUFFERED FROM DEPRESSION AFTER BEING RAPED?! Just because you don’t hear about it in the media DOESN’T MEAN WE HAVEN’T SUFFERED BECAUSE OF THE ACTIONS OF ONE MAN!!!!"

"How about we actually talk about how much I have suffered in 17 years. Depression, suicidal thoughts, isolation, anxiety,PTSD,crying myself to sleep for nights on end, breaking down, snapping at people I care about, feeling alone, feeling attacked, FEELING LIKE S**T ABOUT MYSELF."

Kat went on.

"A man rapes a woman and people will go out of their way to forgive him. Meanwhile, the person he raped gets condemned, destroyed. And you guys don’t see a problem here?"

She then outline a typical example of what she deemed a "typical PR spiel."

"Discredit victims: make them look like addicts, drunks, prostitutes, sluts, liars. Whatever you can do to make them look BAD so nobody believes them."

"Predator: Preach about GOD, use FAMILY for sympathy, cry, use allies that will vouch for your ‘good nature’."

Kat apologized to followers thereafter.

"Sorry guys, nagalit ako. I’m tired of these moves they keep making," she related.

Kat pointed out: "This man destroyed peoples lives. I don’t care if you’re butt hurt that your idol is a bad man. Kasalanan niya din yun."

It was in 2014 when Kat first revealed her rape story via Mo Twister’s radio show “Good Times.”

According to her, it happened when she was 19 years old.

She didn't identify her rapist, relating simply he is a public figure and that they had met because of work.

Years after the said interview, Kat revealed she was raped by someone whose name “#rhymeswithwrong."

The man she said “raped many more.”
