Flash Express launches CSR 'Alagang Flash'

Flash Express, the fastest-growing courier and logistics company in the Philippines has officially launched its umbrella corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative last November 17, 2022, in partnership with Flash Home.

Flash Express, during its first year of operations in the Philippines has already made several CSR drives to contribute to the community. To name a few, Rated K “tsinelas” donation drive, ABS-CBN Sagip Kapamilya’s Tulong-Tulong sa Pagbangon, and various donations to the community and its employees during calamities.

With the sole objective of strengthening the Corporate Social Responsibility of Flash Group, the company has launched 'Alagang Flash' (Flash Cares) - a CSR donation drive and an employee and customer centric initiative to centralize all company's efforts to extend assistance to its employees and to the community who are in need, especially during calamities and other unfortunate incidents. This is also a long-term plan to unify all CSR drives within the company.

“We are pleading with you to do modest things so that we can all work together to create something wonderful. We guarantee to deliver the "Alagang Flash" experience.” Flash Express Marketing Deputy Director AR Polinar said.

The ceremonial activity is inspired by the spirit of giving and symbolizes that Flash Express, in partnership with Flash Home, are opening doors for those who are in need. Thus, Flash Express and Flash Home are also knocking on the hearts of those who can extend help to the communities to participate in the CSR drive of the company. Collection boxes are placed across 100 participating Flash Home partners to serve as drop-off points for non-monetary donations.

“With our mission to reachout to the communities that we are servicing, we should first start with empowering our employees to be the best Flash Express employees - in accordance with our five core values. As we always say, ‘Sa Isip at sa Gawa!’ (In Mind and In Action!)” Rechelle Capua, Flash Home Marketing Supervisor mentioned.

Flash Express hopes to make the donations a glimmer of hope, most especially for Filipinos that are in need - that there is someone who cares. There is Flash Express who cares for your well being. The company aims to make this initiative a bridge towards that start and connect a relationship with the community that it covers and serves.

The accumulated donations will be handed to those who need it most, with the help of Flash Express’ partner foundations, along with other recipients such as Flash Express riders/employees, the Filipino community, and more. Donators can be sure that all is definitely done in good faith.
