Fast fashion is clothing that moves quickly from design to retail stores to meet trends, looks in season that hit the shelves at full tilt. Collections are often based on garments seen on celebrities or at runway shows during Fashion Week. Among global brands, Urban Revivo is well-known for this concept.

In the Philippines, the affordable luxury label takes fast fashion to a different level, not only presenting up-to-the-minute pieces but also rapidly making its stores more available in the market. Only five months ago, Urban Revivo opened its flagship store at SM Mall of Asia and already it has launched its second branch in the country.

The continued partnership of fashion empires UR Fashion Group and Suyen Corporation allows this swift expansion to happen, all to follow the founder of Suyen Corporation Ben Chan’s dream to take Philippine fashion up a notch.

On opening day earlier this month, Urban Revivo’s newest collection, which consists of fresh interpretations of the micro bag trend, stylish tweed ensembles, and statement pieces with high shine ideal for the holidays was showcased on a catwalk. Contemporary silhouettes from oversized cardigans to boxy coats and cropped vests with graphic prints were also displayed.

After the quick fashion show, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was led by Ben Chan, Makati City Mayor Abby Binay, and Ayala Malls president Christopher Maglanoc.

Among the notable celebrities and lifestyle personalities to grace the event, wearing Urban Revivo apparel, were couple Gabbi Garcia and Khalil Ramos, Ara Arida, Amanda Zamora, Devon Seron, Icee Ejercito, Jeric Gonzales, as well as Teejay Marquez, to name a few.

The media, influencers, and other guests were invited to go around the branch for an exclusive preview as DJ Nix Damn P! gave life to the party with his beats.

Staying true to the aesthetic of all its more than 360 shops worldwide, the idea of flexible space, reminiscent of a small theater or art gallery, is applied in its interior, but with a nature-inspired twist, emphasizing Urban Revivo’s push to bridge people and nature.

Other branches slated to open are at Rockwell, SM Megamall, Trinoma, and SM North Edsa.
