Maki serves own R&B spin to viral hit 'Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw'

Up-and-coming artist Maki and Tarsier Records founder and music producer Moophs have given their own R&B flavor to the viral ‘birit’ song “Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw.”

The freshly released track is currently featured on New Music Friday PH playlist on Spotify.

“Gusto Ko Nang Bumitaw” was originally sung by the Crystal Voice of Asia Sheryn Regis and was later on reimagined by Asia’s Phoenix Morisette for the soundtrack of “The Broken Marriage Vow,” which became a hot topic on social media.

With his unique child-like view on life and soothing vocals, Maki is steadily introducing his music artistry through his label, Tarsier Records. His debut single “Halaga” has amassed over 60,000 streams across different platforms followed by his other releases “Para Sa Buwan” and “Thinkin’ Bout Your Smile.”
