Kris Aquino breaks social media hiatus

Kris Aquino has made her presence felt on social media anew.

On Thursday, Nov. 24, she shared an update.

She started: "It’s been a few months… i didn’t want to post until i had definite info as my update. 1st THANK YOU for praying for me, for us."

The 51-year-old then thanked those who included her in their prayers.

She went on to share: "It’s step 1 on what will likely be more than 18 months of diagnosis & treatment. i’m signed up in a hospital’s Center for those with Rare & Undiagnosed illnesses. My last set of test results were conflicting; that’s why i chose to have my full diagnosis & treatment with a team of multidisciplinary doctors."

According to Kris, she has since submitted all her medical records from 2018 when her autoimmune was first diagnosed in Singapore.

"I had a teleconsult w/ the assigned doctor-coordinator for me, then we’ll do a video consult in 2 weeks. i’ll be admitted early 2023 to undergo every imaginable test they’ll deem necessary," she related.

After her results, the team shall decide what treatment will be best because the coordinator admitted she's a “challenge” since she's allergic to so many types of medicine including all steroids.

"Pang case study daw ako- 1 person with multiple autoimmune conditions & over 100 known allergic or adverse reactions to medication," she said.

Kris also shared that they already filed their papers with US immigration.

"Bawal umalis ng (US flag) until the extension is granted. We miss our family & so many of you," she said. "I posted a picture of kuya & bimb- they are my REASONS kung bakit TULOY ANG LABAN, BAWAL SUMUKO: tinitiis yung matinding sakit (sagad sa buto) while allergic to all pain relievers; the constant fatigue, awful sense of balance, nonstop dry cough & shortness of breath; yung sobrang pag-iingat (i’m so immunocompromised- since June i’ve NEVER been to a restaurant, NEVER entered a store, supermarket, or a mall)."

Kris is praying she would soon be well enough to perform her duties as mom.

"The one who would cook, travels for fun, goes to Church, and watches movies w/ them. All in God’s perfect time… Happy Thanksgiving."
