It's full steam ahead for the 11th hospital under the Rizal Provincial Hospital System (RPHS), which is expected to further boost the province’s health care services.

In a set of photos posted on her Facebook page, Rizal Governor Nina Ynares presented the current construction status of the RPHS Taytay Annex which will soon be opened to the public. She also urged other medical practitioners to work at the said facility.

"Excited na po tayong matapos ito nang magamit na natin at mas marami pa po tayong mapagsilbihan na Rizalenyo na nangangailangan ng medical attention. Kaya sa mga mababait at hindi masusungit na doctors at nurses, welcome na welcome po kayong magsilbi kay Lord sa pamamagitan ng pagsisilbi sa ating kapwa (We are very excited to finish this facility so we can use this to serve more Rizalenyos who needs medical attention. So, to our kind and considerate doctors and nurses, you are all welcome to serve the Lord by serving others)," Ynares said.
Ynares also posted the job vacancies for the RPHS in her Facebook page.
The other facilities included in the hospital system include Angono; Antipolo Annex 1, 2, 3, and 4; Margarito A. Duavit Memorial Hospital-Binangonan; Ynares Municipal Hospital-Jalajala; Casimiro A. Ynares Sr., Memorial Hospital-Montalban; and RPHS-Morong.
At the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, all medical facilities under RPHS switched to online booking as part of measures to curb the spread of the virus. It started accepting walk-in patients this year as the number of active Covid-19 cases decreased.
The provincial government also launched free check-ups and laboratory services in some RPHS facilities as part of its efforts in helping the residents in their medical related concerns such as diabetes checkup, ECG, hypertension and HbA1c tests, screening for cervical and breast cancer, chest X-ray, fasting blood sugar test, urinalysis, CBC, and screening for prostate enlargement/cancer.
