What to expect from IKEA Pasay City's first anniversary celebration

With a total of 4.5 million customers who visited IKEA Pasay City over the year, and with over 8,000 products to choose from, it is definitely time to celebrate this Swedish brand's very first birthday in the country.

"The vision has always been to create a better everyday life for many people. This entails expansion and opening ourselves to different areas of the globe to be able to fulfill this purpose and deliver on our promise," says Georg Platzer, Store Manager of IKEA Philippines. "Opening our largest store in the Philippines was ambitious, but with the enthusiasm and love we’ve received from our Filipino customers, it is an unmistakable fact that IKEA has a place in their homes. The ‘many people’ who look for sustainable and affordable products who want a home they love are here."

All IKEA Pasay City shoppers will get to avail of up to 50 percent off on home and food items from Nov. 21 to 25. The bestselling Swedish meatballs 1kg packs are also being sold at half price. IKEA Family members get exclusive anniversary treats such as taking home a free limited-edition birthday tote bag and 11, 250 IKEA Family points for every single-receipt minimum purchase of P5,000.

And before you head home, check out the exhibit and have your photos taken at the photo booth located at the ground floor—and it's for free!
