MB Daily News Update: 12 Pinoys rescued from scamming syndicate in Myanmar
Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno believes there is a need to resolve the country’s retirement and pension system of the military and uniformed personnel (MUP) that has taken its toll on the government’s budget every year because it is an entirely government-funded.
The Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) vowed to provide cash, legal, and psychological assistance to 12 Filipinos, who were recently rescued after being victimized by a Chinese syndicate in Myanmar.
The prices of 195 Noche Buena items have been increased, with almost half getting an increase of at least 10 percent.
Meanwhile, the state weather agency said the country can expect one or two more tropical cyclones next month.
