CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna – Police Regional Office 4-A director Brig. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. cited the Binan City Police Station for arresting three suspected drug pushers during a buy-bust operation on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
“I commend the personnel of the Drug Enforcement Unit of Biñan City police for the successful arrest of these drug suspects. It is a joint effort with the help of our community,” Nartatez said.
“Step by step we will make the City of Biñan free from illegal drugs. May this serve as a warning to those who are still connected to this illegal drug trade and other activities. Walang patutunguhan ang inyong masamang gawain kundi ang kulungan o kamatayan (Your nefarious activities will only result to death or jail),” Nartatez added.
Intensive surveillance and intelligence gathering by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Biñan City Police Station resulted in the arrest of the suspects and the seizure of suspected shabu worth P104,000 in Barangay Platero.
Nartatez identified the suspects as Andrei Carpeña, Viamayra Espeleta Valentin, and Rafael Espeleta Cuevas. They were listed as street-level individuals (SLI) in the Biñan City police drug list.
Suspects face drug-related charges and in the custody of the city police.
