Aljur Abrenica and ex-wife Kylie Padilla are in good terms after calling it quits

Becoming one of the most well-known couples back in 2011, former Kapuso actor Aljur Abrenica gets serious about his career and life.

During an interview for Aster Amoyo’s “TicTalk” on YouTube recently, Aljur opened up about his relationship with his ex-wife, Kapuso actress Kylie Padilla. They are in good terms when it comes to co-parenting, he said.

"We're good, pagdating sa co-parenting yun na yung focus namin ngayon, kasi iispin niyo na yung mga bata ehh. Everyday nag uusap na kami, kahit hiwalay kami we're still learning from each other how to be good parents as the best possible way that we can," Aljur said.

The couple was married for two years, with two sons Alas (5), and Axel (2), it was all a good run until rumors of their breakup spread in 2021. From various Instagram posts about their heartbreak, Kylie's father Robin Padilla also confirmed the news that the couple already separated due to a third party.

Aljur also shared that they have moved on from the issue for the sake of their kids.

"We appreciate what happened, sa mga hindi nakakaalam, pinagtatawanan na lang namin yung nangyari, kapag naguusap kami, tinatawanan na lang namin yan," Aljur mentioned.

Aljur also took the time to acknowledge the controversy between him and Vivamax star AJ Raval.

"Hindi na maiiprove yung sitwasyon ehh. Ako na lang, ako yung nagcheat, ako na lang, walang kasalanan si Aj dun, hanggang dun na lang. Tantanan na ninyo si Aj," Aljur mentioned. (Carissa Alcantara)
