Marcos denies Salceda is replacing Diokno as DOF chief, says it's 'fake news'
President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr. has belied reports that Finance Secretary Benjamin Diokno would be replaced by Albay Representative Joey Salceda.

Marcos labeled the circulating claims as "fake news" in a media interview on Tuesday, Nov. 22.
"Fake news. I don’t know where it comes from," he said.
The President denied making such a move, stressing that it's a "very poor time" to do so.
"Why would I do that? We have assembled a great team. At saka (And) we’re trying to go down a certain direction," he said.
"It’s the wrong --- it’s a very, very poor time to, as they say, change horses in midstream," he stressed.
Salceda has already denied the reports, tagging them as a "pointless speculation."
The Bicolano lawmaker said "Sec. Ben is a good friend and as long as he’s SOF I will work closely with him."
