Globe Telecom Inc. hauled in P12.5 billion Corporate Data revenues in the 3rd quarter, 21 percent up from a year ago and 31 percent higher than the 2019 pre-pandemic level, the telco anbounced Tuesday, November 22.
Information and communications technology (ICT) services grew 96 percent year-on-year, pushing demand for corporate data.
Growth from ICT largely came from business application services (BAS), cloud services, and data centers.
Corporate Data revenues increased 4 percent compared to last quarter also due to BAS and cloud services.
“Our solid growth was a result of helping businesses embrace change through digital solutions," says Globe Group President and CEO Ernest Cu.

"Together with our customers we face every challenge with passion and resolve. It is our goal to be the preferred partner of enterprises, whether big or small, in their digital journey," he elaborated.
'Hence, we will continue to explore optimal solutions for every business need to help our customers weather the economic storm. In turn, they can focus on profitability and service quality,” Cu pledged.
Globe Business handles the telco's Corporate Data segment and also operates several data centers that offer hosting and management.
