Showbiz personalities Ruffa Gutierrez, Mariel Rodriguez Padilla, and Ciara Sotto will debut as hosts of the morning show Mhies On A Mission (M.O.M.s.) which will air on ALLTV on weekdays from 11 am to 12 noon beginning Nov. 28.

In one of their light moments at the launch of their new program held at The Crossing Cafe in Bacoor, Cavite on Nov. 22, the three empowered women gamely compared their co-hosts to different kinds of food when asked by the media to do so, sending their guests to laughter.

Ruffa likened Mariel to fruits: "Isa kang prutas na pini-peel. Kasi yung prutas buong buo at masarap pero pini-peel unti unti kasi unti-untiu ka ng nagbo-bloom or nahihinog sa show na ito. Nawala ka kasi to focus on your family and now you're taking care of yourself and your ability to showcase what talent that you have to offer. Hindi ibig sabihin na nanay ka, yun na lang ang role mo sa buhay. So ang role mo rin is to take care of yourself to show na ito ang kaya mong gawin. We still need a Mariel Padilla in show business. You're too young to retire."

Turning to Ciara, Ruffa compared her to nuts: "Ikaw naman, isa kang mani."

Ciara asked Ruffa: "Anung klaseng mani? Adobo o nilaga?"

Ruffa said: "Mani? Hindi. Maning peanuts!" She added: "Isa kang almond na matigas. Hindi siya sensitive, hindi siya maarte, lahat puwede mong itapon sa kanya."

Mariel commented: "Healthy siya (like nuts). Puwede mong gawing drink, puwede mong gawing dessert, savory dish, pwede sa dessert at marami pang iba."

Ruffa added: "Very strong ang foundation niya (Ciara).

Mariel compared Ruffa to cheese: "Ang naisip ko, si ate, para siyang cheese."

Ruffa commented: "Hindi ako si Heart (Evangelista) ha!"

Mariel continued: "Cheese, if you noticed, masarap kung hard cheese, soft cheese. Si ate ganun. At saka ang maganda sa cheese, tumatagal siya. Si ate ang dami na niyang nagawa sa life pero hindi siya nawawala. Lagi ko siyang kailangan. Everybody loves cheese. Masarap ang cheese. Lahat puwede mong ibagay si chees. Puwede siya sa pizza, sa dessert, spaghetti. Pagnilagyan mo ng cheese, mas lalong nagiging malinamnam. Ganun si ate."

Referring to Ciara, Mariel said: "I was thinking parang sporty. Tingin ko talaga Gatorade. Parang lagi sa kanilang may activity. Yung tipong parang wala sa kanilang Netflix. Yung lagi talaga sa kanilang may action.

Ruffa also said: "Ako I finished the taping so I went to sleep kasi yung eye bags ko. Pero siya nasa football field na naglalaro. Ako nasa kama pa."

Mariel continued: "So ikaw (Ciara) talaga is Gatorade."

Ciara told Ruffa: "For me, si ate is like wine. Mas tumatagal mas nagiging mahal at mas nagiging masarap parang ganun. You're aging gracefully. But you're not aging at all."

On Mariel, Ciara said: "You're like a pancake with syrup because you're like a comfort food. So everytime na makakausap kita, you're very comforting and super bubbly. I just love your energy. Masaya lang talaga tayo palagi."
