F2 Logistics ends PVL campaign with victory over Petro Gazz

F2 Logistics ended its Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference campaign on a bright note with a 25-16, 25-22, 27-25 victory over Petro Gazz Tuesday, Nov. 22, at the Philsports Arena in Pasig City.

Despite being out of contention, the Cargo Movers still gave out their all against semifinalists Angels to finish the conference with a 4-4 record at fifth place.

Lindsay Stalzer was a force to reckon with for F2 Logistics by tallying 22 points on 19 kills, two blocks and one ace, while Kalei Mau was equally unstoppable with 20 points.

The Cargo Movers needed one hour and 31 minutes in grounding the Angels, erupting in the offensive lane by firing 50 kills off the combined attacks of Stalzer and Mau.

F2 Logistics also showed its might behind the net with nine blocks.

MJ Phillips and Lindsey Vander Weide finished with 11 points apiece for Petro Gazz, which finished the preliminaries with a 5-3 mark to tie with Cignal.

The Angels, however, got the third seeding while the HD Spikers took the fourth.
