Criminology student shot dead in Quezon

PAGBILAO, Quezon – A 19-year-old criminology student was gunned down while driving a motorcycle on Monday, Nov. 21, in Sitio Ulbok, Barangay Mapagong, here.

Police identified the victim as Jayvee Ramos of Barangay Mapagong.

Investigation said the victim was driving his motorcycle with his girlfriend as back rider on their way home when two unidentified men alighted from a motorcycle and shot him.

The suspects fled while Ramos was taken to a hospital where he was declared dead.

The victim's girlfriend told police that the suspects were wearing ponchos.

Police have yet to determine the motive of the crime. A follow-up operation is ongoing.
