Capacity building through digital literacy held in Nueva Vizcaya
Undergraduate students and non-teaching personnel of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU) - Bambang Campus have benefitted from the Department of Information and Communications Technology’s (DICT) five-day digital literacy and internet media training.
“The training aims to provide ICT-related information that will enhance the knowledge of participants and, in the long run, provide them with opportunities for employment or entrepreneurship,” said DICT Region 2 on Tuesday, Nov. 22.

The five-day digital literacy training was conducted from Nov. 14 until Nov. 18. Among the topics discussed were computer and internet use, productivity tools such as, but not limited to word processing, electronic spreadsheets, and multimedia presentations.
This particular initiative was mounted through DICT’s Free Wi-Fi for All program, an initiative that seeks to “connect Filipinos” nationwide by ending the so-called digital divide.
