56 wanted nabbed in Cordillera

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet – The Police Regional Office-Cordillera nabbed 56 wanted persons from Nov. 13 to 19.

The Baguio City Police Office had the highest number of arrest with 19, followed by Benguet Police Provincial Office with 18, Kalinga and Ifugao PPO with six each, Apayao PPO and Abra PPO with three each, and Mountain Province PPO with one.

Brig. Gen. Mafelino Bazar, PRO-Cordillera director, said due to intensified police presence and maximum deployment of personnel during the period, 54 municipalities in the Cordillera region recorded zero crime incidents.

Five police stations of the Baguio City Police Office also had zero crime incidents – Station 4 (Loakan), 6 (Aurora Hill), 8 (Kennon Road), 9 (Irisan), and 10 (Marcos Highway).

In Abra, 24 out of 27 municipalities recorded zero crime incidents, six in Kalinga, seven in Mountain Province, seven in Benguet, five in Ifugao, and five in Apayao.
