The Filipino-Canadian gunner rifled in 24 points built on six triples as he formed a three-headed combo with Jarrod Uthoff and Cheick Diallo who finished with 21 and 32 points, respectively, to notch a repeat win over Hokkaido.

Compounding the woes for Hokkaido, which also suffered a 80-75 loss to Kyoto last Saturday, was the injury to Filipino import Dwight Ramos. The 6-foot-4 guard appeared to have tweaked his ankle after stepping on the foot of an opposing player late in the contest.

Ramos finished with 11 points, six rebounds and four assists while Hokkaido was paced by Ryuma Hashimoto who had 18 points across his name.

Elsewhere, Thirdy Ravena and his San-En NeoPhoenix survived the Akita Northern Happinets, 93-90, in overtime. Thirdy put up a solid performance with 16 points, four assists and three rebounds but was one of the four players who fouled out in the contest.

Kazuki Hosokawa provided 19 points while import Yante Maten added 15 points and six rebounds for the Phoenix.

Meanwhile, the Nagoya Diamond Dolphins exacted their revenge against the Toshiba Brave Thunders with a 77-58 rout. Ray Parks Jr. contributed eight points, five rebounds and five assists as Coty Clarke led the way for Nagoya with 18 points.

Kiefer Ravena, on the other hand, was not fielded in Shiga Lakes’ 89-84 loss to the Ryukyu Golden Kings. Jay Washington saw limited action for Ryukyu finishing with three points in 10 minutes of play..
