ILOILO CITY – A website has been launched to strengthen the promotion of this city as the country’s next major destination for meetings, incentives, conferences/conventions, and exhibitions (MICE).

As the city is more than just a MICE destination, we represent a way of life, and this might empower us to support a defined culture that brings each person together through enlightened leadership and innovation like the digitalization, said Salvador D. Sarabia Jr, director of the Iloilo City MICE Center.
The website created in collaboration with developer GoveSmart Solutions Inc. makes the Iloilo City MICE Center more accessible with information incentive programs, calendar of events, projects, and other activities.
The visitiloilocity.com and a QR code is easily available for those who want to access it via their smartphones and a digital kiosk is available at the Iloilo Airport.
The website features a list of MICE facilities; directory of all transport companies and terminals for land, sea, and air travel; news articles on MICE campaign; and an introduction to Iloilo City.
The Department of Tourism (DOT) launched the MICE marketing campaign dubbed “Meet You in Iloilo” as a public-private partnership (PPP) in 2019.
While the pandemic got in the way, the Iloilo City MICE Center is optimistic that the marketing campaign will take off under the new normal.
