PRC sets virtual special oathtaking for new agricultural, biosystems engineers

The online special oathtaking ceremony for new Agricultural and Biosystems Engineers will be on Dec. 7 at 10 a.m., the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

It will be spearheaded by PRC-Tacloban through Microsoft Teams or Zoom.

Inductees were advised to wear formal or business attire and use a white physical or virtual background throughout the entire ceremony.

"Please secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select 'e-OATH' as transaction. The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day. Inductees are required to print 'OATH OF PROFESSIONAL' form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services," PRC said.

The step-by-step procedure of the online oathtaking application system and specific registration and ceremony protocols can be found on the commission's website.

Meanwhile, the first face-to-face oathtaking ceremony was conducted by PRC last Nov. 16.

The second and third batches will be on Nov. 26 and Dec. 4.

The newly announced special oathtaking date is for those who will not be able to attend the in-person ceremony.
