The Department of Public Works and Highways-Isabela Second District Engineering Office (ISDEO) is expediting the construction of the Barangay Eden-Cabaritan Bridge in San Manuel, Isabela.
The bridge is expected to speed up delivery of goods and services and provide travelers a better transport facility. Likewise, it will also generate jobs for residents and help the mobility of students following the opening of face-to-face classes.
A report to DPWH-Region 2 (Cagayan Valley) Nomer Abel P. Canlas said the bridge is 25-meters long and scope of work includes slope protection structures and Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP) works.
The project with a total contract amount of P19.7 million is expected to be completed this year.
