CAAP advises firms, public vs solicitation of its personnel

The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has advised the public to refrain from giving in to any form of solicitation of any of its official or personnel.

In a statement, the CAAP said all its personnel have already been warned against any form of solicitation especially this coming Holiday season.

The CAAP issued the statement amid reports that there are some individuals and groups purportedly coming from CAAP that have been allegedly calling some agencies and company that directly conduct business with the agency.

"Such acts of solicitation by unscrupulous individuals purporting to be CAAP officials which this Authority does not tolerate," the statement read.

"We urge the public to report to our office any activities relating to the above so that appropriate criminal charges may be filed against them, if applicable," it added.
