A suspicious motorcycle top box was found abandoned along Roxas Boulevard, Manila on Monday morning, Nov. 21, causing alarm among residents.

The Manila Police District-Explosive Ordnance Division (MPD-EOD) immediately responded after the top box was found in front of the U.S. Embassy, according to a report from DZBB.
Part of Roxas Blvd. service road was initially closed to motorists by the MPD causing heavy traffic in the area.
The incident was a false alarm after the said top box was found to be empty.
The MPD had earlier assured tight security in the city in preparation for the official visit of US Vice President Kamala Harris to the country.
Harris, who arrived in Manila on Sunday evening, is set to discuss bilateral talks with President Ferdinand Marcos and her Philippine counterpart Sara Duterte, and a visit to Palawan.
