DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao del Norte (PNA) – Two men were killed in an ambush on Monday morning, Nov. 21, on a busy section of the national highway here, police said.
Lt. Col. Nelson Madiwo, municipal police chief, said the fatalities were on board a green Toyota Vios when they were ambushed at about 9:45 a.m. in Barangay Margues.
“We are conducting a pursuit operation right now,” Madiwo said in a phone interview.
Scene-of-the-Crime Operatives are still determining the names of the driver and his companion seated in the front passenger seat.
The driver, after being hit, apparently lost control of the car and slammed into a roadside store, police said.
