Parañaque City Mayor Eric Olivarez announced on Monday, Nov. 21, that the 1,400 job order (JO) employees of the city government will receive an increase in their salaries from P3,500 to P5,000 this year.
Olivarez made the announcement during the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony held at the City Treasury lounge.
He said that out of the 1,400 JO employees, more than 1,000 are assigned to the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) mostly as street sweepers.
The mayor also ordered the release of the early Christmas 13th month pay of all the employees starting Nov. 21
Olivarez said all regular and casual employees will receive a cash gift amounting to P5,000 from Dec. 5 to 9 while the productivity pay of P5,000 will be given to them on Dec. 19 to 23.
