Three most wanted in Calabarzon collared in Batangas

BATANGAS - Three most wanted persons who are all rape suspects in Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) were arrested in separate places on Sunday, Nov.20, in this province.

Batangas Police Provincial director Col. Pedro Soliba identified the three suspects as Ronald Atienza,29, tricycle driver and a resident of Barangay Catandala, Batangas City; Justine Dipon, 29, construction worker and a resident of Barangay Alangilan, Batangas City, and Bryan Nao, 29, driver and a resident of Barangay 2 in Lipa City.

Atienza was arrested by virtue of a warrant of arrest for three cases of statutory rape and acts of lasciviousness. He was caught in Batangas City at 7 a.m.

Dipon was charged of raping a 12-year-old girl in May 11, May 13, May 15, and May 18, 2022 in different places in Batangas City. He was arrested in San Pascual, Batangas by joint police forces at 8:30 a.m.

Nao was arrested in Lipa City at around 9:10 a.m. in Barangay Mataas na Lupa.

The arrest of the suspects was the result of a relentless manhunt operation against most wanted persons in Batangas province, Soliba said.

The suspects are in the custody of respective police stations.
