Misters of Filipinas Jovy Bequillo gears up for Man Hot Star International 2022

After marking his place at the 2022 Misters of Filipinas, Jovy Bequillo believes that he is ready for his first international pageant at the ManÂ Hot Star International 2022 in Thailand.Â

"Yung pressure naman po is hindi mawawala, pero yung pressure ginagamit ko po siya as my motivation to represent our country to be the best ever in this competition," said Jovy, when asked if he feels any pressure for the upcoming competition, during a press conference held at the Alpha Massage and Wellness Center in Quezon City last Nov. 16. (The pressure won't go away, but I use it as my motivation to represent our country to be the best ever in this competition.)

After joining male pageants for over a decade, Jovy shared one of the pieces of advice that kept him going through those years.

"Never doubt yourself, lalo na kapag sasabak ka ng pageant kasi no one will believe except yourself, and always manifest," the Bicolano hunk said.

By now, Jovy has arrived in Thailand as he joins the rest of the candidates from Nov. 19 to 26.

Man Hot Star International is the first male pageant that promises luxury in pageantry as Thailand aims to produce the very first business-class male pageant.

The pageant aims to discover new actors, presenters, and celebrities for a global audience.

The grand coronation of the Man Hot Star International 2022 pageant will be held on Nov. 25. (Carissa Alcantara)
