Six drug suspects were arrested while a 17-year old boy was placed under police custody in an entrapment operation conducted in Barangay Gaya-Gaya, City of San Jose Del Monte (CSJDM), Bulacan on Sunday, Nov. 20.
Col. Relly B. Arnedo, Bulacan police director, identified the arrested suspects as Angelito Alfaro, 23; Roger Lopez, 22; Henry Jumadiao, 20; Raven Aboliso, 18, all of Barangay Gaya-Gaya; Jimboy Salidaga, 25, of Barangay San Roque, Navotas City; Jandy Fernandez, 31, of Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, and a minor.
Confiscated from them were five pieces of heat-sealed plastic sachets containing 15 grams of “shabu” worth P102,000 and five grams of alleged marijuana placed amounting to P750, assorted drug paraphernalia, and the buy-bust money.
Arnedo said the operation was conducted by joint operatives led by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Bulacan Provincial Office, PDEA-Regional Special Enforcement Team, and PDEA Regional Office-National Capital Region (NCR).
Appropriate charges against the six suspects are now being prepared for filing in court, while the minor will be endorsed to the local social development officer for further assessment and evaluation, police said.
