2 women found dead in Benguet are cop's daughter, niece

TUBA, Benguet – The two women found dead on the side of a cliff in Sitio Inonas, Barangay Taloy Sur here on Monday, Oct. 31, are the daughter and niece of an active police officer.

Staff Sgt. Albert Peralta Quiros of the Pozorrubio Municipal Police Station in Pangasinan identified the victims as his daughter Andrea Rabara Quiros, 19, and niece Anika Columbiano Principe, 16, residents of San Vicente, Urdaneta City, Pangasinan.

He positively identified the victims when he went to the Tuba Municipal Police Station on Nov. 1.

A concerned citizen reported to the police here that the bodies of two women were found on the edge of a cliff here on Oct. 31 at around 1:30 p.m.

Their hands were tied and their mouths covered with packing tape.

The victims were together when they disappeared.

Police are conducting an intensive investigation to find out what exactly happened to the victims.
