‘Tutok’ party-list representative vows to build more ‘e-schools’ in PH

CEBU CITY -- A party-list representative vowed to build more ‘e-schools’ across the country as part of his advocacy as a legislator and a successful entrepreneur.

Tutok To Win Partylist Rep. Sam Verzosa said building more ‘e-schools’ is the reason why he chose to become the vice-chairman of the committee on poverty alleviation and disaster resilience in the Congress.

Versoza, who is the Chief Executive Officer of multi-level marketing company Frontrow, said that 10 ‘e-schools’ were constructed at the height of the pandemic.

Three of the 10 e-schools were built in Camotes Island, Cebu, Verzosa said.

“For those in far-flung areas, they need Internet or printers. We will continue to build e-schools to provide help and online presence for our students,” Verzosa said on Saturday, Nov. 19.

Verzosa said that the Frontrow E-skwela program is focusing more in Luzon for now but soon it will expand to Mindanao and the Visayas.

“We will make sure that all sectors will receive help,” Verzosa said.

Verzosa was in Cebu to open another office located in Barangay Camputhaw.

Verzosa shared Frontrow, distributor of anti-ageing, vitamins, immune booster, slimming and cosmetic products, already has more than 100 branches in majors cities in the country.

The five branches in Metro Cebu are located in the cities of Toledo, Talisay, Lapu-Lapu and Bogo.

Verzosa said that his company already has more than two million distributors and is ‘continuously growing because we kept on inviting not just in Cebu.’

Verzosa said it helped that the company was not affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

“We are pandemic-proof, we continue to grow during pandemic; we opened international branches in Melbourne, Sydney, Qatar and in London,” said Verzosa, whose company also has branches in Africa, Canada, Hawaii, Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Taiwan, among others.

Verzosa said the pandemic did more good than harm as it made the distributors become more versatile.

“We learned online selling because before we were focused on office. Before, we only had personal lang presentation but now we also do online presentation,” said Verzosa.

Verzosa said the company looks to help more people by giving them an opportunity to own a business.

The businessman-turned-lawmaker said Frontrow has so many success stories and they are hoping that more people will join the company.

“The company grew because of hard work, belief, grit, passion consistency, world-class products and team work and we can bring it to higher level,” Verzosa said.
