P333,000 marijuana seized in Central Luzon

CAMP Olivas, City of San Fernando, Pampanga – Police nabbed four suspected drug pushers and seized marijuana totaling P333,000 in buy-bust operations in Central Luzon on Thursday, Nov. 17.

The Police Regional Office 3 identified the suspects as Elisur Renald Rivera, Jan dela Cruz, Jeric Deles, and Ralph Rodriguez.

Rivera, who was arrested in the City of Malolos, Bulacan, yielded a paper bag with one brick of suspected dried marijuana leaves wrapped in a black shirt weighing 1.1 kilos with an estimated value of P132,000.

Dela Cruz and Deles were nabbed in Mexico, Pampanga. Recovered from them were suspected dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops weighing 835 grams worth P100,200.

Rodriguez, a high-value individual due to the amount of illegal drugs he was able to sell, was arrested in Tarlac. He yielded one homemade caliber .38 revolver with two bullets and bricks of suspected dried marijuana leaves with fruiting tops valued at P101,000.

Suspects are facing appropriate charges, according to the police.
