Details on BTS' Jungkook's performance at FIFA World Cup in Qatar released
Grammy-nominated K-pop idol group BTS member Jungkook will be performing at the opening ceremony of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and his agency has released the details.
Big Hit Music released a statement on Nov. 19 about Jungkook, who is now in Qatar for the opening ceremony slated on Nov. 20.

Jungkook will perform “Dreamers,” the official soundtrack.
“We’d like to inform you about BTS Jung Kook’s participation in the opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022,” Big Hit Music said.
It added, “At the opening ceremony of FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, Jungkook will be performing the official soundtrack ‘Dreamers.’”
The opening ceremony will be at 5:40 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. on Nov. 20 (Arabia Standard Time), equivalent to 11:40 p.m. on Nov. 20 to 12:10 a.m. on Nov. 21 (Korea Standard Time).
“We ask for your interest in BTS Jung Kook’s performance at the World Cup opening ceremony,” the agency said.
According to the FIFA World Cup website, “It is the first time that the tournament’s soundtrack will feature a multi-song collection, with international artists showcasing diverse musical genres that span the world, setting the tone for a truly global celebration.”
