AGUINALDO, Ifugao – The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) has turned over farm equipment worth P1.2 million to the Monggayang-Pinto Agrarian Reform Farmers Organization (MPARFO) in Sitio Manaot, Barangay Monggayang here.

MPARFO president Joseph Oman thanked DAR for the equipment – water pump, a 50-horsepower tractor, and a corn seeder – and assured the agency that they will take good care of them, including those they have yet to receive.
DAR-Ifugao Provincial Agrarian Reform Program Officer II Atty. Raul Laluan exhorted the beneficiaries by sharing the moral lesson of the Parable of the Talents.
“These blessings that you have received aren’t from DAR, it is from the Lord in which he uses DAR and us, the employees, to share these blessings that you have prayed for,” Laluan said.
A trust agreement between the DAR and the organization outlining their duties and responsibilities was signed during the turnover ceremony.
The turnover of the equipment is under the Major Crop-based Block Farm Productivity Enhancement under the Climate Resilient Farm Productivity Support Project of DAR.
