Alden and Bea, Julie Anne and Rayver in Cebu: GMA Network gives Kapuso an early Christmas treat with back-to-back events this weekend

Christmas comes early for Kapusong Cebuanos as GMA Network, through GMA Regional TV and Synergy, brings Alden Richards and Bea Alonzo together with Julie Anne San Jose and Rayver Cruz to the Queen City of the South for back-to-back events this weekend.

Asia's Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose and Total Heartthrob Rayver Cruz kick off the festivities this Saturday (November 19) as they grace the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu’s Christmas Tree of Hope Lighting Ceremony.

Now on its 13th year of partnership with GMA Network, the Christmas Tree of Hope aims to raise funds for the GMA Kapuso Foundation.

JulieVer are also set to promote their much-awaited concert entitled 'JulieVerse' slated on November 26 at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City. Joining them on Nov. 26 are Kyline Alcantara and Mavy Legaspi.

On Sunday (Nov. 20), Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards and multi-awarded actress and box-office icon Bea Alonzo of the hit primetime series 'Start-Up PH’ bring an early Christmas treat to their Cebuano fans. Alden and Bea will join the Cebuano dreamers for an afternoon full of entertainment and performances during their Kapuso Mall Shows at the Gaisano Grand Mall Mactan at 3 PM and Ayala Center Cebu at 6 PM.

GMA Network also takes part in the celebration of the Lapu-Lapu City Fiesta this year. On Nov. 20, Derrick Monasterio graces the Ms. Lapu-Lapu 2022 at the Hoops Dome, Lapu-Lapu City, while Dion Ignacio serenades the candidates of Mrs. Lapu-Lapu on Monday, November 21, at the same venue.

Meanwhile, the GMA Masterclass Series carries on with ‘The Icons Series’ this November. Last Oct. 28, GMA Network Chief Marketing Officer Lizelle G. Maralag led the first leg at the University of San Jose Recoletos in Cebu City. This was followed by award-winning broadcast journalist Howie Severino who addressed students and members of the academe at the Naga College Foundation in Naga City last November 12. 'The Icon Series' is a continuation of the GMA Masterclass Series in Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. It intends to provide students with relevant information, knowledge, and inspiration from leaders of various fields.
