PRC releases special online oathtaking date for new fisheries professionals

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Friday, Nov, 18, advised that the special online oathtaking date for new Fisheries Professionals will be on Nov. 23 at 1:30 p.m.

It will be spearheaded by PRC-San Fernando, Pampanga through Microsoft Teams, PRC added.

Inductees were also advised to wear formal or business attire and use white physical or virtual background throughout the ceremony.

"Please secure an online appointment schedule at http://online.prc.gov.ph and select 'e-OATH' as transaction. The online registration will close five (5) calendar days before the virtual oathtaking day. Inductees are required to print 'OATH OF PROFESSIONAL' form that is downloadable at the PRC Online Services," PRC said.

The step-by-step procedure for online oathtaking application can be found on PRC's website.

Last Nov. 9, PRC conducted the face-to-face oathtaking for new Fisheries Professionals at the Century Park Hotel in Manila.

The commission then said that those who will not be able to attend the in-person ceremony may participate in the newly announced special oathtaking ceremony.
