Over 15k Covid-19 vaccines administered by PH Red Cross in Marawi


A total of 15,249 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered by the Philippine Red Cross in Marawi City since 2021.

The vaccination effort was spearheaded by PRC Mobile Bakuna Team who has fully vaccinated 7,657 individuals from the city.

PRC Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard Gordon encouraged the public to get vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.

He also assured that the PRC is in full support of the government's efforts to end the pandemic.

Aside from Marawi City, PRC had also conducted vaccination programs in Agusan del Norte, Bukidnon, Cotabato City, Davao City, General Santos City, Gingoog City, Iligan City, Maguindanao, Misamis Oriental, Sarangani, Surigao del Norte, Sultan Kudarat, and Zamboanga City.

"To date, 120 vaccinators have been mobilized and one Bakuna Bus has been deployed in Mindanao," PRC noted.

The organization reported that as of Nov. 17, it has already administered 1,252,865 doses of Covid-19 vaccines and boosters nationwide, fully vaccinating 377,388 people.
