
The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday, Nov. 18, detected 1,774 new Covid-19 infections.
Latest data from the DOH showed that active cases nationwide were at 19,267.
Metro Manila had the most cases in the past 14 days with 3,351, followed by Calabarzon with 1,984, Western Visayas with 1,512, Central Luzon with 1,165, and Central Visayas with 1,058.
The new infections brought the nationwide caseload to 4,023,798.
Of the total number of confirmed cases, 3,940,073 were tagged as recoveries and 64,458 were fatalities.
The DOH still reminded the public to get vaccinated and boosted against Covid-19.
"Do not forget to practice physical distancing, frequent hand-washing, and ensuring good ventilation are our minimum public health standards that provide added layers of protection against the virus," the DOH said.
