Oathtaking schedule of new chemical engineers announced

New passers of the Chemical Engineer Licensure Examination will be taking their oath in November 2022, said the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).

In an advisory issued on Thursday, Nov. 17, PRC said the face-to-face mass oathtaking will be divided into two different ceremonies. One will be held in Cagayan de Oro City on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 3 p.m., while the other one will be held in Cebu City on Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 5 p.m.

“All successful examinees who are interested to attend the face-to-face oathtaking shall register not later than 12 of the day prior to the date of oathtaking,” said the Commission.

Apart from confirming their attendance through the virtual registration, interested attendees were likewise instructed to bring vaccination card or negative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) test result taken within 48 hours before the oathtaking day.

Individuals who will not be able to attend the in-person ceremony may opt to attend online or request for a “special” oathtaking day.
